Hilltop Hospital(1999)

Hilltop Hospital is a claymation children's series that adapts Nicholas Allan's beloved picture books. Created in 1999, the show comprises 52 ten-minute episodes following the quirky happenings at a hilltop medical facility staffed by unusual characters. Directed by Pascal Le Nôtre, the series was produced in English, French, German and Dutch versions to reach young audiences across Europe. The charming stop-motion animation brings Allan's whimsical storytelling to life with gentle humour and imaginative scenarios. ZDF began broadcasting the shorts in 2003, introducing the show to German television viewers. Hilltop Hospital became available on home video through Buena Vista Home Video in 2000 and later through Maverick Entertainment in the UK in 2006.
