Cold Call is a British crime drama following June Clarke after she loses her home sale proceeds to fraudsters. At a support group for scam victims, she reconnects with her old schoolmate Des Grigsby, who believes the con artists are connected to Kirk Wiley, a seemingly respectable businessman. Des convinces June to take a job as a carer for Wiley's mother, positioning her to investigate from inside his household. As June navigates her new role, she uncovers whether Wiley is truly behind the fraud ring that destroyed both her and Des's finances. The series explores themes of deception, revenge, and the lengths people will go to reclaim what they've lost, blending personal drama with the tension of an undercover operation.
