Comedystreet(2002)

Comedystreet is a German hidden-camera comedy series created by and starring Simon Gosejohann. The show follows Gosejohann as he adopts various disguises and personas to surprise unsuspecting members of the public, drawing comparisons to British series like Trigger Happy TV. Filmed primarily across North Rhine-Westphalia—including Dortmund, Essen, and the Ruhr area—the series also ventures to destinations like Sylt, Norderney, Düsseldorf, Paris, and Prague. Gosejohann's brother Thilo handles camera duties while a director manages legal clearances and broadcast permissions. All participants are informed and consent to their segments before airing. The show premiered on ProSieben in September 2002 and gained enough traction to reach a fifth season, later entering syndication on Comedy Central in 2010.
