Envy(2025)

Envy is a Turkish drama series that explores the destructive power of family neglect and sibling rivalry. Seniha grows up starved of her mother's affection, watching her older brother Halit become the family's golden child—a celebrated lawyer and serial bachelor who enjoys every advantage their wealth provides. Meanwhile, Seniha is dismissed as the family's ugly duckling, left to languish without education or prospects, gradually reduced to servitude in her own home. As Halit dismisses her as "Miss Nobody," Seniha's jealousy deepens into a consuming sense of worthlessness. The series examines how maternal rejection and comparative neglect can poison a person's self-worth and relationships, following Seniha's struggle against the role her family has assigned her and the resentment that threatens to consume her.
