Evergreen(1985)

Evergreen is a sweeping drama based on Belva Plain's novel, spanning fifty years from 1909 to 1959. The story begins on New York's Lower East Side, where Polish-Jewish immigrant Anna arrives as a seamstress. When she marries Joseph Friedman, an ambitious contractor who builds wealth in Westchester, her life transforms.
