Klara is a Polish series following a chaotic woman navigating middle age with reckless abandon. She's entangled in an affair with a married man while juggling substance abuse, late-night parties with her friend Wronka, and conversations with her cat. Her relationship with her perpetually critical mother adds another layer of tension to her already turbulent life. Childless, husbandless, and sleepless, Klara prioritizes passion and physical connection over respectability or stability. Despite her anxieties about time running out, she refuses to play it safe. The series captures her defiant attempt to reclaim joy and meaning on her own terms, even as her choices spiral into increasingly complicated territory.
