Murderers(2021)

Murderers is a Belarusian crime series set in 1984 near Vitebsk. When a store robbery goes wrong and a traffic police officer vanishes, local detective Mikhail Shakhnovich is assigned to investigate. A specialist from Minsk, Leonid Ipatiev, arrives to assist, only to discover that the case is far darker than expected. As the search unfolds, the body of a young woman surfaces in the forest. Ipatiev quickly realizes the local police force is riddled with corruption—bribes, false confessions, and lazy detective work are the norm. While Shakhnovich arrests convenient suspects, more women's bodies continue to appear across the region. The two investigators must navigate a system designed to obstruct justice while hunting a killer operating in plain sight.
