Peep Time(2020)

Peep Time is a Japanese drama series following Toneri Shinichi, a perpetually unemployed young man living in a Saitama condominium who struggles with failure at every turn. His neighbor Kashiya Jiro discovers a hole in the wall separating their rooms and begins secretly watching Shinichi through it. When Jiro's daughter Akane stumbles upon the same hole, the dynamic shifts dramatically, pulling all three into an increasingly complicated situation. The series explores themes of voyeurism, family secrets, and the messy intersections of private lives in close quarters. As boundaries blur and motivations become unclear, Peep Time examines what happens when hidden observations can no longer remain hidden, forcing each character to confront uncomfortable truths about themselves and their relationships.
