The Brack Report(1982)

The Brack Report is a drama series following Paul Brack, a chief nuclear physicist who uncovers dangerous safety lapses at a power station after an earthquake. Horrified by what he discovers, Brack resigns and becomes determined to expose the station's negligent practices. His crusade strains his marriage to Pat, a fellow researcher who doesn't share his conviction. Seeking allies, Brack partners with energy consultant Harold Harlan, hoping to champion nuclear safety reform and promote alternative energy. But Harlan has his own agenda, and Brack soon realizes his new mentor may not be the principled advocate he appeared to be. As Brack navigates competing interests and personal fallout, he must decide how far he'll go to fight for what he believes is right.
