Video Hits is a Canadian music video series that aired on CBC Television from 1984 to 1993, establishing itself as the longest-running video program in the country. Created by producer Sandra Faire, the show showcased music videos of contemporary hits alongside artist interviews. Samantha Taylor hosted the program from its 1984 debut, with Bryan Elliott taking over from 1989 to 1991, followed by Dan Gallagher through the series' final year in 1993. Originally scheduled for weekday afternoons at 4:30 p.m., Video Hits shifted to 5:00 p.m. in 1989, becoming a staple of Canadian television's music programming during the 1980s and early 1990s.
