Vocation is a Russian series that follows Oleg Krainov, a former soldier who arrives in Moscow to pursue acting at VGIK, the prestigious film school. The show weaves together real historical crimes from the 1980s onward into its detective narrative, grounding the story in authentic events. As Krainov navigates his new life in the capital, he becomes entangled in investigations that draw on some of Russia's most notorious cases.
