Le Cactus(2005)

Le Cactus is a French comedy about two lifelong friends whose fortunes flip when a hospital mix-up convinces hypochondriac Sami he's dying. Determined to spend his final days living fully, Sami jets off to India to seek treatment from a dubious local healer. His loyal friend Patrick tags along for support, unaware the illness is entirely imaginary. While Sami's health mysteriously improves, Patrick's life unravels—he loses his job and his marriage crumbles. As the roles reverse, Patrick becomes the one struggling while Sami thrives, leading to an increasingly absurd exploration of friendship, misfortune, and the power of belief.
