Backroads(1977)

Backroads is an Australian crime film about two strangers—Jack, a white man with racist views, and Gary, an Aboriginal man seeking escape—who steal a car in western New South Wales and drive toward the coast. As their journey unfolds across the outback, they pick up a motley crew: Gary's Uncle Joe, a French hitchhiker, and a young runaway.
