R.E.M. Live(2007)

R.E.M. Live is a concert film and live album capturing the alternative rock band's final European shows of 2005. Recorded at Dublin's Point Theatre on February 26 and 27, R.E.M. performed material from Around the Sun, their thirteenth studio album, alongside deep cuts and rarities. Director Blue Leach filmed the performance, bringing the energy of the winter tour to home audiences. The release arrived in multiple formats: a two-disc CD and DVD package in October 2007, followed by a triple vinyl edition in February 2008. Standout moments include rarely performed tracks like "I Took Your Name" from Monster and the previously unreleased "I'm Gonna DJ," which would later surface as a studio recording on 2008's Accelerate. The band promoted the release through R.E.M. Live Zine, inviting fan reviews and building anticipation for the project.
