El duende y yo is a Spanish comedy about Modesto, a lowly clerk at the Vulcania company who dreams of advancing his career by pitching a worker-benefit project to management. When he befriends Diana, a misunderstanding leads the company owners to believe she's his wife. Desperate to impress them, Modesto invites the bosses to dinner at his home, hoping to finally present his proposal. But the evening spirals into chaos as his superiors prove far more interested in Diana than in any business scheme. What begins as an ambitious career move becomes a hilarious lesson in office politics and the perils of deception, as Modesto scrambles to salvage both his project and his reputation.
