Sherlock Holmes Returns(1993)

Sherlock Holmes Returns is a film that transplants the legendary detective into the modern day. After centuries in suspended animation, Holmes awakens in 1990s San Francisco following an earthquake. He's aided by Amy Winslow, who now occupies the famous Baker Street address in her city. Holmes assembles a new version of the Baker Street Irregulars, led by the street-smart Zapper, to navigate this unfamiliar era. His investigation soon pits him against the Moriarty clan, descendants of his most formidable nemesis, led by James Moriarty Booth. The film blends classic detective mystery with fish-out-of-water comedy as Holmes confronts both modern technology and a criminal dynasty that has endured through the ages.
