Yesterday Island is a dark comedy about a failed novelist who agrees to watch a remote research station for one day and finds himself trapped in a time loop. When his friend never returns, Amos realizes the trap is deliberate. Desperate to escape, he convinces his ex-wife to join him on the island, only to strand them both there. To break free, the pair must scheme to lure their most dislikeable friends to the island, setting off a chain of messy, unforeseen consequences. The film explores second chances, petty revenge, and the redemptive power of forgiveness through quirky, darkly comic situations that test the limits of human relationships.
