Past Obsessions is a thriller about a woman trapped in a nightmare of her own making. Shane Walsh appears to have everything—a wealthy husband, a stunning home, a life of luxury—but behind closed doors, Matt Walsh's jealous rage and controlling abuse leave her broken. Desperate to escape a man she believes will never release his grip, Shane orchestrates the unthinkable: she fakes her own death to start over far from home. What follows is a tense cat-and-mouse game as she attempts to build a new identity while evading the man determined to find her. The film explores the dark psychology of obsession, the lengths victims will go to reclaim their freedom, and the dangerous consequences of deception.
