Waiting for Dublin is a wartime romance set on New Year's Eve 1944. American pilot Mike Clarke makes a reckless $10,000 bet with Al Capone's nephew that he can shoot down five enemy aircraft. When his plane runs out of fuel, he crash-lands near a remote Irish village and finds himself stranded, cut off from the war and unable to complete his bet—or escape the consequences. Forced to stay, Mike gradually bonds with the village's eccentric residents and meets Maggie, a spirited redhead who challenges everything he thought he knew about survival and loyalty. As Mike works to find a way home and win his wager, he discovers that the real battle isn't in the sky. Romance blooms amid the Irish countryside as Maggie helps him navigate both his impossible debt and his unexpected feelings.
