Professional Foul(1977)

Professional Foul is a philosophical drama that follows three British academics traveling to Prague for a conference. When one professor, Anderson, discovers that a former student has been arrested by Czech authorities for writing about individualist morality, he's forced to confront the gap between his theoretical ethics and real-world moral action. Set against the backdrop of Cold War Czechoslovakia, the film explores whether principles matter when human lives hang in the balance.
