Nous avions is a Canadian drama set in Montreal in 1999, following a Pakistani immigrant family whose weekly ritual of watching planes land near the airport becomes the backdrop for a family crisis. When the rare arrival of the legendary Concorde draws them to their usual spot, seventeen-year-old Akram, the eldest of three children, seizes the moment to abandon his family and pursue his own life.
