Culpa(1993)

Culpa is a psychological thriller set in a town terrorized by a serial killer known as the Killer of the Seven Leathers. When a prostitute rescues a deeply religious young man from a brutal street attack, she follows him to his ramshackle home, a space consumed by Catholic iconography and spiritual fervor. As she attempts to seduce him within those cramped, holy-laden walls, a dangerous tension builds between desire and devotion. The film explores the collision of sin and salvation, desire and restraint, as the two strangers navigate an increasingly volatile dynamic. Set against the backdrop of an unsolved murder spree, their encounter becomes a psychological game where neither character's true intentions remain clear.
