Jardim Europa(2013)

Jardim Europa is a Brazilian drama that follows a wealthy São Paulo family—a mother and her three adult children living in one of the city's most exclusive neighborhoods—whose carefully maintained world fractures when their estranged father unexpectedly returns. The man who abandoned them years ago and allegedly triggered the family's financial collapse now moves back into their home, behaving as though no time has passed and no damage was done. Tensions simmer as old wounds resurface and the family must confront the ghosts of their past. The film explores privilege, resentment, and the impossibility of simply erasing history within the confines of a single household.
