Lady of The Train(1952)

Lady of the Train is a drama following Fikria, a singer trapped in a troubled marriage to Farid, a compulsive gambler drowning in debt. When a train accident leaves her injured, a kind peasant nurses her back to health. Upon her return home, Farid sees an opportunity in her misfortune—he demands she remain hidden from the world so he can claim insurance money to settle his mounting gambling losses. Caught between her husband's desperation and her own survival, Fikria must navigate a dangerous web of deception that threatens to unravel her life. The film explores themes of manipulation, survival, and the cost of loyalty in a marriage built on lies.
