The Last Broadcast is a found-footage horror film set in December 1995, when a four-man crew from the public-access show "Fact or Fiction" ventures into New Jersey's Pine Barrens to broadcast footage of the legendary Jersey Devil. Only one survives. Convicted and sentenced to life in prison within ninety minutes, the sole survivor's guilt becomes the focal point when a filmmaker launches his own investigation a year later. Blending real interviews, archival footage, and reconstructed scenes, the film questions what truly happened that night in the woods and whether justice was served. The Last Broadcast explores themes of media sensationalism, truth, and the dangers of chasing legend.
