Dirty Laundry is a drama about a man forced to confront his past. After a decade away in New York City, Sheldon returns to Paris, Georgia, when his stubborn mother Evelyn presents him with a ten-year-old boy claiming to be his son. Sheldon wants nothing to do with fatherhood or family obligations, but old tensions between him and his mother—and between him and his brothers—quickly resurface. When someone else from his New York life arrives at Evelyn's door, fresh complications threaten to unravel what little stability remains. The film explores whether Sheldon can find the courage to embrace his roots and build a meaningful life, or whether pride and resentment will keep him trapped in cycles of avoidance and conflict.
