Shalako is a Western following cowboy Bosky Fulton as he guides a party of European aristocrats through the American frontier, only to lead them into Apache territory. When the group becomes separated, Countess Irina Lazaar encounters a hostile Apache warrior and is rescued by Shalako, a skilled tracker who warns the foreigners to leave immediately. The pampered Europeans dismiss his advice, dismissing the real danger surrounding them. As tensions escalate and Apache attacks intensify, Shalako must protect the stubborn aristocrats from the lethal threats closing in around them. The film balances action and survival drama as cultural clashes and frontier peril collide.
