Taekwondo(2016)

Taekwondo is an Argentine drama following Germán, who accepts an invitation from Fernando, a fellow martial arts student, to join a holiday gathering at a sprawling country estate outside Buenos Aires. In this secluded, all-male retreat, a group of attractive young men spend their days swimming, sunbathing, and indulging in casual excess. As the days unfold in the heat and isolation, suppressed desires and personal uncertainties surface with unexpected force, testing friendships and forcing each man to confront truths he's kept buried. The film captures the tension between surface camaraderie and the complex emotions simmering beneath, exploring masculinity and self-discovery against a backdrop of privilege and freedom.
