A Simple Twist of Fate is a drama about Michael McCann, a man hardened by heartbreak who has withdrawn from society and hoarded his wealth in rare gold coins. When a local troublemaker named Tanny breaks into his home and steals the collection, McCann's cynicism deepens. His life changes unexpectedly when a young woman dies in the snow outside his house, leaving behind a small daughter. The child finds her way into McCann's home and, gradually, into his guarded heart. As he cares for her, McCann begins to rediscover his humanity and capacity for love, finding redemption through an unlikely bond that transforms them both.
