Blinded(2004)

Blinded is a psychological thriller set in rural Scotland. Doctor Caroline Lamar offers a lift to Mike Hammershoi, a young Danish backpacker seeking work, directing him to Black's farm—an isolated property owned by the blind and increasingly bitter Francis Black. Francis lives there with his ailing mother and his enigmatic wife Rachel. Though initially put off by the farm's foreboding atmosphere, Mike is drawn back by Rachel's attention. Sensing his wife's attraction to the stranger, the controlling Francis orders Mike to leave. Instead of separating them, his ultimatum ignites a passionate affair between Mike and Rachel, one with dangerous consequences for everyone involved. The film explores jealousy, isolation, and the destructive power of desire in a claustrophobic rural setting.
