Sundowners is a comedy about two wedding videographers who seize a chance to escape their mundane lives by filming a destination wedding in Mexico. When Alex and Justin arrive, they discover their boss has been vague about the actual location and details, leaving them scrambling to find the event. What unfolds is a chaotic adventure as the pair navigate unfamiliar terrain, cultural mishaps, and mounting pressure to deliver professional footage despite having almost no concrete information. The film captures the clash between their aspirations for something bigger and the messy reality of chasing an opportunity that may not even exist. With humor rooted in their desperation and incompetence, Sundowners explores themes of ambition, friendship, and the lengths people go to break free from their ordinary routines.
