An Israeli Love Story(2017)

An Israeli Love Story is a historical drama set in 1947, following Margalit, a woman from the cooperative settlement of Nahalal, and Eli Ben-Zvi, son of Israel's second president. A chance encounter ignites passion between them, but their romance faces immediate obstacles. Eli, the Muhtar of Kibbutz Beit Keshet, is consumed by defense efforts as tensions escalate between Jewish settlements and Arab neighbors. As the region hurtles toward the 1948 Arab-Israeli War and Israeli statehood, the couple struggles to balance personal happiness against the demands of nation-building.
