Nude is a documentary that examines how nudity functions in contemporary art through the lens of photographer David Bellemere. Commissioned by NU Muses founder Steve Shaw to create a fine art calendar, Bellemere navigates the delicate balance between artistic vision and commercial expectation. The film follows his creative process as he works with models and confronts the complex perceptions surrounding the nude form in photography. Through intimate behind-the-scenes moments, Nude questions what makes nudity art rather than exploitation, and explores the tension between the photographer's intent and the viewer's interpretation. It's a thoughtful look at the intersection of commerce, creativity, and the human body in visual culture.
