Kowalski Live! is a concert film capturing live performances by the German industrial band Kowalski, recorded across four distinct sets. In the early 1980s, Kowalski forged an uncompromising, aggressive sound that blended distorted electronics with raw energy—a style they themselves characterized as confrontational and abrasive. The band's sole studio album, Schlagende Wetter, was produced by legendary electronic music pioneer Conny Plank and released on Virgin Records. This live documentation preserves Kowalski's intense, experimental approach to industrial music during a pivotal era for the genre, capturing the group before their dissolution.
