Lougarou de Nouillorque is an experimental film composed of three distinct sections. The first two parts, Paranorama 3 and 4, function as handmade observations of vision itself—exploring what can be seen and perceived through direct documentation with synchronized sound. Paranorama 5 shifts approach, offering pure visual observation with sound added in post-production as illustrative accompaniment. The final section, Pierre Rivière and I, attempts a performative reading of testimony from the historical figure Pierre Rivière, treating the text as embodied presence rather than theatrical direction. The film operates as a meditation on perception, documentation, and the relationship between image and sound across its three movements.
