Racing Luck(1948)

Racing Luck is a 1935 sports drama about siblings Boots and Phyllis Warren who inherit two prized race horses. When rival owner Jeff Stuart claims one horse after a winning race at Santa Anita, he discovers the animal refuses to run without its former stablemate. Neither party will surrender their claim, so they strike a high-stakes bargain: both horses will compete in the same race, with the winner taking possession of both animals. The arrangement grows complicated when Phyllis falls in love with Stuart, forcing her to choose between family loyalty and romance.
