Rozkošný příběh(1937)

Rozkošný příběh is a romantic comedy about a poor saleswoman named Helena who accepts a theater ticket from a wealthy stranger, millionaire Jára Nerad, after he quarrels with his fiancée Eva. Eager to impress him, Helena pretends to be rich. When they meet by chance the next day at the store where she works, her deception unravels. Rather than being deterred, Jára pursues Helena anyway, and the two begin dating. The film explores themes of class difference and genuine connection, balancing humor with the complications that arise when romance crosses social boundaries.
