Night Guard(1957)

Night Guard is a crime thriller about an accountant who uncovers a discrepancy in the commodity base's records. That same night, a thief breaks into the facility, cracks open a safe containing crucial accounting documents, and murders the accountant. Police commissioner Krechetov and lieutenant Kasyanov take charge of the investigation, racing to identify the killer before they strike again. The film explores the collision between a routine clerical error and a deadly heist, as the detectives navigate a web of suspects and motives to solve the case.
