Portrait of a Family is a Korean drama that follows a celebrity couple whose world collapses when a mysterious girl named Dong-ju enters their lives. Baseball player Jung-gu and movie star Nam-mi are at the height of their success and happiness until Dong-ju's arrival upends everything. Seven years pass before the couple is forced to confront her again—this time after Dong-ju becomes entangled in the death of a middle-school girl. Desperate to protect their family and seek justice, Jung-gu and Nam-mi embark on a battle they know they cannot win. The film explores themes of desperation, redemption, and the lengths parents will go to shield their loved ones from darkness.
