Anxious to Return(1979)

Anxious to Return is a wartime drama set during the Japanese occupation of Northeast China. A wounded soldier from the anti-Japanese resistance is discovered and nursed back to health by a compassionate local girl. As they grow close, romance blossoms between them—but duty calls. The soldier faces an agonizing choice between his love for the girl and his commitment to rejoin his comrades in the fight for liberation.
