Pompon Girl(2018)

Pompon Girl follows Ava, a confident clown and burlesque performer whose carefree life takes a devastating turn. Walking home from a show one night, she and her friends are confronted by a man who hurls insults at them. When Ava finally stands up for herself, he beats her brutally. Though she tries to mask her pain, Ava soon discovers she was pregnant at the time of the attack. The film explores her struggle to reclaim her identity and agency in the aftermath of violence, blending dark humor with raw emotional depth as she navigates an impossible situation with the same defiant spirit that defined her before that fateful night.
