Master Zhang(2020)

Master Zhang is a historical drama following the legendary Taoist sage as he travels to Bashu to aid a troubled friend. Upon arrival, Zhang Daoling discovers his companion dead and uncovers a sinister conspiracy involving local evil organizations conducting dark sacrifices that threaten the people. Accompanied by his disciple Wang Chang, Zhang Daoling must navigate treachery and corruption while staying true to his principles. Determined to dismantle the conspiracy and protect the innocent, he confronts the forces of darkness and imparts wisdom to the community. The film explores themes of integrity, spiritual conviction, and the struggle between good and evil in ancient China.
