Gallivant(1996)

Gallivant is an unconventional road movie that blends home video intimacy with wanderlust. Director Andrew Kötting takes his 85-year-old grandmother Gladys and his eight-year-old daughter Eden—who has Joubert syndrome—on a zig-zagging 6,000-mile journey around Britain's coastline in a campervan. Gladys, opinionated and full of contradictory memories, becomes the film's beating heart, sharing anecdotes and observations as the trio navigate coastal towns and landscapes.
