The High Priestess(2015)

The High Priestess follows Sasha, a woman trapped in depression and regret, searching for a way out of her emotional spiral. Suspecting her therapist Dr. Stas of exploitation, she turns to Magick Jack, a mysterious figure who claims to offer spiritual guidance. Yet Sasha soon faces a troubling question: is Magick Jack genuinely different, or is he running the same con under a different guise? The film explores themes of vulnerability, trust, and the desperation that makes people susceptible to manipulation. As Sasha navigates between conventional therapy and alternative spirituality, she must confront uncomfortable truths about who she can really rely on and whether healing can be found outside herself.
