Air Force, Incorporated is a documentary that exposes the dangerous state of Argentina's civil aviation system and the Argentine Air Force's mismanagement of it. Since the 1966 military coup, the Air Force has controlled air traffic operations—a situation Piñeyro argues exists in only one other country, Nigeria. The film centers on the Austral Líneas Aéreas Flight 2553 crash, using it as a case study for systemic failures. Director Enrique Piñeyro smuggles his camera into the control tower at Buenos Aires' Ministro Pistarini International Airport to capture the dysfunction firsthand. Through hidden footage and investigation, the documentary builds a damning portrait of how military oversight has compromised aviation safety and left passengers at risk.
