Appland is a comedy about resilience and second chances in Silicon Valley. After being dumped by her boyfriend and ousted from the tech company she co-founded, entrepreneur Olivia Grassi returns to Pasadena, California, broke and facing a costly lawsuit. Her best friend Shane encourages her to channel her frustration into a new dating app. Olivia's pitch meetings go nowhere—investors are intimidated by her intensity. Determined to succeed, she lands a meeting with venture capitalist Alan Stevenson, a major player in the industry. When Alan sexually harasses her and demands she sign an NDA, Olivia flees his office shaken. There she meets Luke, who offers unexpected support as she reggroups with Shane. Olivia must find her footing in a cutthroat industry while navigating betrayal, harassment, and the question of whether she can rebuild what she's lost.
