Polar is a British mumblecore comedy-drama about Robin, a charming but directionless guy who struggles with weed, beer, and chronic failure across work, relationships, and friendships. After time alone, he reconnects with his best friend Steve, who tries to steer him toward stability and romance. But as Steve pushes Robin toward what he thinks is the right path, questions emerge about whether that path actually suits Robin at all. Shot on a shoestring budget, the film captures the messy reality of adulthood with dry wit and authenticity, exploring what it means to help someone when you're not sure what help looks like.
