Commander Wang Liang(2021)

Commander Wang Liang is a historical drama following the legendary Qijiang general from 1927 to 1932. In August 1927, Wang Liang and fellow officer Luo Ruiqing were detained by a rebel warlord while en route to the Nanchang Uprising. After escaping, Wang Liang regrouped with Qijiang comrades Liu Sihai and Yang Chunfa, then joined the autumn harvest uprising in Xiushui. There he first proved his military command abilities during the assault on Jinping. The film chronicles the most heroic period of Wang Liang's career, capturing his rise as a strategic leader during China's turbulent revolutionary era before his death in 1932.
