Two Yesterdays and My Future is a Japanese fantasy drama about Kaito, a former marathon runner whose Olympic dreams ended with injury. Now adrift in a mundane city hall job and recently dumped by his girlfriend Marino, Kaito takes work as a mountain guide. During a sudden downpour, he shelters in a mysterious mine. When he emerges, the rain has vanished—and so has his past. Kaito discovers he's now an Olympic gold medalist still in a relationship with Marino. Caught between two realities, he must navigate the consequences of a life he never lived and confront what truly matters. The film explores identity, regret, and the paths not taken through a speculative lens.
