Lov na mamuta(1965)

Lov na mamuta is a Yugoslav science fiction comedy about a determined young cybernetics graduate who repeatedly attempts to gain entry to the prestigious Mammoth Cybernetic Supermachines Research Institute. After being ejected by the doorkeeper countless times, he returns with an unconventional entourage: his friends and a live circus bear. Once inside, he pitches his invention—a machine that predicts the exact time of death. When the scheming research manager learns the institute's director has only two days to live, he sees an opportunity to seize power. The film blends absurdist humor with satirical jabs at bureaucracy and scientific ambition, capturing the quirky spirit of Eastern European cinema from its era.
